Tirunelveli, Jan. 21-Sister Dr. Amalawathy of Srivilliputhur ASHA Alternative Medicine Centre was awarded a Doctorate for her research paper on holistic health at the 35th anniversary function held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International School in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka Medicino Alternativa Centre Director Antar Jayasuriya presented the degree. Doctors from many countries of the world who came from acupuncture, Ayurveda, homeopathy and alternative medicine participated in the ceremony. Research on alternative medicines other than allopathic medicine is being conducted at the centre.
